Scientists have recorded a
record speed data transfer of 186 GB per second, paving the way for
establishing a network with standard speeds of 100 MB / sec.
This new record is equivalent to 1000 in a second DVD disks or Blu-ray discs 100,000 a day.
During the test, the data are exchanged between Victoria University of Columbia and Washington state center for unacceptable concessions in Seattle, which are 212 miles apart.
Researchers on both sides have reached speeds of 186 MB per second, breaking the record of 119 GB per second of 2009. The network is set by the company Canary.
