Transparent monitors are
among the most favorite accessories recently in science fiction but with 14
inch laptop presented at CES based on OLED technology, Samsung can quickly give
everyone a chance to try this experience.
Indeed, the model presented is only a prototype, but besides the nice appearance, this model OLED display has a maximum transparency by Samsung (when the screen is erased) by 40 percent, while the standard today is somewhat to 25 percent.
It is not to be seen, is how such a feature would be appropriate for everyday tasks - a transparent monitor must be feeling like transparent windows system, but how many of you use such options?
Technology is likely to remain where it is (ie only a prototype) in terms of computer monitors, but now Samsung plans to experiment with the MP3 player or similar device where accuracy and clarity of vision are key aspects and where transparency would be a welcome extra.
